Pollux is a specialist in the development, design and building of test systems.
As an independent and neutral service provider, we also operate two test centers for turbochargers,
combustion engines and components such as e-mobility or automotive assemblies.
The company locations in Kirchheimbolanden (near Ludwigshafen) and Gommern (near Magdeburg) offer
by their respective central location one good connection to the conurbations of the German automotive industry.
To support our high-performance, interdisciplinary team, we are now looking for a committed and motivated
Student (m/f/d) from an engineering degree program for a bachelor / master thesis

Your field of activity:
- The building technology used for the energy supply of the test benches for compressed air, cooling water, electricity, gas and fuel is complex
and necessarily requires large amounts of energy. Content of the work should first be an analysis represent the situation at both locations.
In the process, potentials are to be recorded and technical as well as organizational framework conditions for optimization are clarified.
If necessary, it can be started with initial implementation within the work (e.g. the introduction of an energy management system for recording
and optimising consumption). The totality of possible activities far exceeds the content of a usual thesis.Therefore, the contents can ideally be
staked out on the given time frame. Ideal would be a combination of a 3-month internship and the subsequent thesis at the same time.
