Pump test benches

For development-related measurement or end-of-line testing for a 100% control of pumps, Pollux develops test concepts for the automatic determination of characteristic curves and for the validation of continuous operation of mechanically or electrically driven pumps.
Fully automatic pump test benches allow different test specimens to be subjected to a precise functional test and to provide the most accurate information on key figures such as delivery rate, pressure and output.
Used as an end-of-line test bench, the software enables the measurement of the pumps and comparison of the determined maps to predefined nominal curves. Different types of pumps of a just-in-sequence production can be checked in a row. The assignment of the pumps to the test process is carried out either manually by the operator or fully automatically via barcode or RFID. Test results can be stored in a central database and retrieved remotely, if needed.
If required, integrated climate chambers ensure that the components are tested under varying environmental conditions. Furthermore, the medium may be provided preconditioned in temperature or pressure and, if necessary, interlaced against the ambient temperature.
The software for the test bench control has a sequencer function to prepare individual test sequences and allows the acquisition and storage of different measured variables at runtime.
