Test benches for vehicle seats
In order to test and simulate the behavior and characteristics of materials under varying framework conditions, Pollux develops test systems, which can handle static and dynamic forces.
Depending on the task it is possible to perform software-controlled linear movements, which are position and/or force-controlled.
For example: car seats and head restraints are tested on such test benches for their load capacity and deformation. The actuators apply, either position or force-controlled, a defined load to the seat. Precise force measuring devices support a sensitive force application, while position sensors measure and monitor deformation.
Complex movement sequences of various linear factors are sequentially stringed together by a specially designed sequential control.
Tests during design phase allow us to detect critical areas or quality deficiencies at the product at an early stage. This helps us to increase process-capability.
