Hot gas test benches

Our customers have in total five hot gas test benches at their disposal to test and measure components when exposed to extreme temperatures.

Three of those test benches are manufactured by the market leader Kratzer Automation and can therefore test turbochargers under the exact same conditions as Kratzer’s in-house test benches at our customers’ sites.

Test bench G3 "hybrid"

This test bench is equipped with two separate burners and covers an extended control range.

Small burner:

  • Output 60 kW
  • Outlet temperature 850 °C

Specialties:

  • Optimized for multi-functional usage. By using two burners, the test bench covers an extended control range. Apart from measuring equipment for thermodynamic measurements, thermal shock equipment is also available.
